Best Indoor Play ideas for Toddlers

This Pandemic has forced our kids to stay in most of the times and here are few things which keep my little one busy. I don't stick to a single schedule or strict routine but chose the activities for my daughter on a daily basis depending on the time she wakes up and the interest she shows on that particular day.

It helps largely in her not getting bored with a single toy or activity. Also I don't necessarily force her into any activity and encourage her by giving her a gentle nudge towards the things she loses interest in.

T playing with the reusable sticker book. This one keeps her occupied for a good one hour.

Here are some easy ways to keep kids (Age 2-5 yrs) occupied indoors :

🌟Engage them in daily household chores in a fun way like baking, emptying the dishwasher or arranging the closet. Little ones love doing the daily chores they see us doing.

🌟Figure out the pretend play they are most interested in and encourage them to indulge in it. Pretend plays of cooking, baking, being a doctor, etc. are enjoyed by most of the kids.

🌟Legos : They are the best to help them explore their imagination and use it to build stuff. Legos go very well with pretend play as well.

🌟Ustructured play: Letting them play with any toy of their choice in any way they want. Helps them explore and utilise their toys in the best way.

🌟Play Dough and Slime : These are the best sensory play items which keep kids of any age occupied for a long time.

🌟Coloring and Writing: Take out those blank pages and crayons and leave your toddlers with them. You will be surprised how much they enjoy it.
